About me
Daniel Castro Silva is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Informatics Engineering (DEI) at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto (FEUP) and a researcher at LIACC since 2013. He obtained his PhD in Informatics Engineering in 2011, also from the University of Porto, in the area of artificial intelligence applied to coordination among autonomous vehicles. His research at LIACC has been focused on the areas of distributed artificial intelligence, agent-based simulation and machine learning. He has published over a dozen articles in international journals and over three dozen papers in international conferences. He has co-organized a few workshops co-located with international conferences and has acted as program committee member to several conferences and workshops. He has participated in some nationally and internationally funded projects, with participation in the areas of artificial intelligence and intelligent simulation.
