About me
Brigida Monica Faria is a Coordinator Professor at the School of Health – Polytechnic Institute of Porto, Portugal. She is a researcher at the Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science Lab (LIACC) at the University of Porto and she is also a member of LASI – Associate Laboratory of Intelligent Systems. Her research interests include Machine Learning, Data Mining, Statistics, Data Analysis, Assistive Technology, Robotics, Multimedia and Serious Games. She participated in several research projects and developed fully functional prototypes in these areas. She was co-chair of more than 10 international conferences and workshops with an emphasis to IEEE ICARSC. She is the author of more than 70 journal/conference publications (indexed at SCOPUS and/or ISI Web of Knowledge).
