About me
Completed his Ph.D. in Systems Engineering in 2005 at the University of Lisbon and a Master’s in Operational Research and Systems Engineering in 1997 at the University of Lisbon. He is an Associate Professor at the University of the Azores. He has published 34 articles in specialized journals. He has authored 47 book chapters and 8 books. He organized 36 events and participated in 3 events. He supervised 4 master’s theses and co-supervised 1. He supervised 1 undergraduate/bachelor’s final project. He has received 3 awards and/or honors. He has participated as the Principal Investigator in 1 project. He works in the fields of Exact Sciences with an emphasis on Computer and Information Sciences and Engineering and Technology Sciences. In his professional activities, he has interacted with 196 collaborators in co-authorship of scientific works.
