This project has as its main objective the development of software systems that combine environmental and territorial data, as well as data from different agents along the supply chain, into actionable information: optimized logistics management, optimized routes, alternative solutions for surplus food products, new methods for tracking raw materials and products, improved solutions for food preservation, food life cycle assessment and monitoring of environmental indicators. The Consortium will specifically address the supply chain related to fruit, vegetables, chilled products and fresh packaged products. This project was approved in the Eureka Clusters Sustainability Call 2022 with the ITEA seal (https://itea4.org/) and will is now be funded in the recently opened Portugal2030 Call.
