João Ferreira Nunes teaches at Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo (IPVC), Portugal, in the Informatics Engineering and Multimedia group. He is a PhD student in Informatics Engineering at the University of Porto, Portugal and his field of research is mainly focused in human motion analysis, with an interdisciplinary nature, combining knowledge from several domains, like computer graphics, biomechanics, computer vision, machine learning, etc. He authored or coauthored several conference papers and book chapters. Currently he conducts his research as a collaborator at the Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science Lab at the University of Porto (LIACC) and at the Applied Research Center for Digital Transformation (ARC4DigiT) at the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo.
