Pedro Miguel Moreira holds a PhD (Univ. of Porto, 2009) in Computer Graphics (CG) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). He is affiliated with the Human Machine Intelligent Cooperation Group (HMIC) of the Artificial Intelligence and Computer Science Lab at UP (LIACC-UP) and with the Applied Research Center for Digital Transformation (ARC4DigiT) at the Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo. He is Professor at Polytechnic Institute of Viana do Castelo (IPVC). His main research interests are computer vision, interaction, serious games (SG), AI techniques in games and in CG and Web Technologies. He has organized several conferences and workshops on CG, AI and SG, co-authored several journal articles, conference papers and book chapters, and served as an editor for books and special journal issues. He currently heads the Electrical and Informatics Engineering department at IPVC.
